Rebecca started circus training in 2001. At 18
years of age, she was a bit old for all that, but
natural skill and 10 hour training days had her
performing internationally in under two years.
Rebecca is now the Head Circus Trainer, and
lead performer with renowned Australian
contemporary dance company 'Skadada'.
Where she trains dancers and gymnasts to
integrate circus into contemporary dance.
While Rebecca's repertoire spans acrobatics,
adagio and contortion, she performs mainly as
an aerialist. Performing single, double, and
triple combinations of tissu, lyra, straps,
trapeze, web, aerial dance, and mallakhamb
(Indian yogic rope).
Rebecca contributes her wealth of knowledge
to the physical theatre and technical aspect of
our current works in progress.
