RECENT PROJECTS
THE TEA PARTY
Filmed in July 2011, 'The Tea Party' is a short
film by Cameron McCulloch. We designed and
made the Prince Charming puppet, and
manipulated all puppets used in the film.
Currently in post-production, 'The Tea Party'
will be seen on the short film circuit in 2012.
INTERACTIVE COLLAGES
We created a series of 10 pairs of collages
used in an interactive 'Convict Slang' quiz show
performance.
SHADOW BOOK
An intimate storytelling device created for Here
& Now. The pages of the book were
transformed into a fold out shadow screen and
puppet boat all concealed within. Residents
were invited to hold the shadow puppet boat
and light to create a story for it's journey while
the puppeteers held the book.
APPLE HOUSE
Another object for Here & Now, the 'Apple
House' provoked memories of home and family.
Residents peered through the lens into a dark,
starry sky. A button illuminated the apple and
turned it while the top box could be removed to
inspect the house, complete with picket fence
and a pin-head soccer ball.
THE BUG
'The Bug' is a quirky music video about the
journey of a 4 Channel Mixer. Created by the
imaginative mind of Director / Writer Kess
Broekman-Dattner and the talented guys from
Melbourne band Junior Jr. We turned two
mixing desks into puppets and a lipstick red
cassette player into a hooker.

THE CARNIVAL OF THE HERE & NOW
A Creature Tales project held in the Eliza Purton
Aged Care facility, Ulverstone Tasmaina.
Drawing from the philosophy of the tipsy turvy
world of the carnivalesque, The Carnival of the
Here & Now sought to suspend time and routine
at Eliza Purton.
