life-sized puppet + radio + smelly blanket + beer

What happens to puppets when they’re too old to
perform? Is there a puppet pension?

Prof. Clochard used to be a sought after puppet.
But now he’s old, battered, and on the streets.

He's been spotted on Parisian sidewalks, sleeping in a
tent, begging, heckling, going through trash, and
reminiscing about what it was like back in his day.

Art... or public nuisance?

Now coming to doorways near you...

Language: French - Grandiose!

'Des Poissons dans un Bocal' is a contemporary play
about Kim Milkshake - a self-called grand director, her
cast, and Hérmon the pet goldfish of Francesco the star
actor.

Part farce, part - well ok, all farce - with some serious
philosophising re: the fish.

Kim sleeps with Francesco
Lise loves Francesco
Francesco sleeps with Marianne
Marianne runs away with Roméo
Lise just runs away
Francesco runs away with Hermon (the fish)
and Kim burns down the theatre

Based on a true story - no really...
puppets + objects + physical theatre + music + sound

Based on the famous play by Peter Weiss, our show is a
20 minute, three actor, multiple puppet and object version.

Sade is a string-puppet straight-jacket. Corday a
doll-faced hand-puppet hung on a line with soft towelling
breasts and a shower curtain skirt. Marat is a pensive
sponge that spits water in his 'David-esq' gold frame, and
suspended mini bathroom. The National Assembly are a
rowdy group of washing gloves that dry the discontent of
the people.

Between persecuting and assassinating Marat (with some
deadly tweezers) the three actors flirt, fondle, scheme,
and smooch.  A seriously unsettling black comedy.

c'est tout de suite qu'il faut que ça change...

Taken from Brecht's Threepenny Opera, the 'Duo de la
Jalousie' was created for performance in an erotic puppet
cabaret. More burlesque than erotic, our duo are two
brides - trapped in the same wedding dress - both
hopelessly in lust with Mackie.

As the song progresses, their decorum unravels.
Exploding each other's bosoms, and squawking like hens.
Various object puppets emerge from their skirt,
culminating in a fickle phallus.
