essayist, and international journalist with ‘The

There is no end of his fascinating life stories,
from luncheon with the Queen of England, to
his days as an anti-Apartheid activist in South
Africa.

Ken is the author of ‘The Missionary Position’.
A play based on the story of his great-
grandfather, Scottish Missionary John
Mackenzie, who was instrumental in the
creation of the country Botswana. Ken places
Mackenzie in his own words within a surreal
contemporary setting.  But doesn't let family-
ties dull his sharp wit or critical eye. It’s an
honour to collaborate with Ken; a great mind
and a great man.
