Plan and facilitate a clowning and physical theatre summer school program
for 10 young people aged 18 to 25 in Rabat, Morocco leading towards
performances in the Paediatric Hospital for patients and their families. The
workshops were conducted in French, English and Arabic, while the
performances were in Arabic.

Company in Residence / Community Circus Classes

Create and negotiate all aspects of the business plan, govt. lease
agreement, engineering plans, and Education Department approved circus
curriculum. In the agreement created, TRIX gained permanent residence in
Southport State High School’s new gymnasium and $10,000 of funding for
permanent aerial circus facilities. In exchange, Trix teaches circus arts in
the Physical Education Curriculum for Yr 8 students, and as an elective for
older students.
Devise and implement an outreach workshop and training program. For
schools workshops, vacation care workshops for up to 70 students,
specialised Flying Trapeze workshops, Schoolies Festival 2003, and weekly
community classes.
· 90% allocated schools workshop spaces filled
· 75% repeat workshops requested
· Community class growth by 30% per term
· Youth Performances secured for the 2003-2004 holiday season

training and professional performance contracts for 9 artists, and a 1 week
promotional tour for 2 artists.
As Creative Director: Concept development and Direction of professional
performance `replay` and creation of promotional videos. Co-Direction of
youth demonstrations, and audio engineer for performances.

WA’s leading youth arts company; SEA creates innovative performance and
workshop projects with regional youth aged 5 to 25 including, indigenous,
special needs, and at-risk youth. The Artistic Director works to balance &
unite community development across 23,000 km2 of the Great Southern
Region with professional development through international exchanges in
circus, physical theatre, drama, and dance. In 2001 SEA became a Mentor
organization. The Artistic Director had 2 professional artsworkers as
Mentorees, and hosted the 2-year International Physical Theatre
Mentorship program for youth across the Great Southern.
